JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to provides support in managing and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. This role involves coordinating with local government units (LGUs), preparing tax-related documents, and assisting in the timely filing and payment of local taxes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

LOCAL TAX COMPLIANCE

·       Ensure timely and accurate filing of local tax returns (e.g., business permits, real property tax, community tax).

·       Monitor deadlines and maintain a compliance calendar for all LGU-related obligations.

DOCUMENTATION AND RECORD MANAGEMENT

·       Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all local tax filings, payments, and correspondence.

·       Ensure proper safekeeping and accessibility of tax-related documents for audit and reference.

COORDINATION WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS (LGUS)

·       Liaise with LGU offices for tax assessments, renewals, and payment confirmations.

·       Address inquiries and resolve discrepancies in coordination with relevant government agencies.

REPORTING AND ANALYSIS

·       Prepare periodic reports on local tax payments, assessments, and compliance status.

·       Assist in identifying areas for cost savings or process improvements related to local taxation.

SUPPORT FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AUDITS

·       Provide necessary documentation and assistance during internal audits or government inspections.

·       Ensure audit findings related to local taxes are addressed promptly and accurately

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

·       Assist the Legal and Tax team with clerical tasks such as scanning, filing, and courier coordination.

·       Support other tax-related functions as needed, including cross-functional collaboration.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Office Administration, or related field

·       At least 1 year of experience in administrative or clerical work (experience in legal/tax admin is a plus)

·       Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·       Strong organizational and time management skills

·       Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

·       Amenable to work in Libis, Quezon City
