About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing/Procurement Assistant to join our team at GOLDENLION CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY CORP.' in Cabuyao City Laguna. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement activities and ensuring the seamless flow of materials and supplies to our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for our construction projects
  2. Liaising with suppliers, negotiating prices, and securing the best possible deals for the company
  3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records and monitoring stock levels
  4. Preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues or discrepancies
  5. Collaborating with project managers and other departments to understand their procurement needs
  6. Providing administrative support, such as filing, document management, and data entry
  7. Continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency and streamline procurement processes

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers
  4. Proficient in using procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
  5. Attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  6. A team player with a proactive and collaborative approach to their work
