Job Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or college level in any field.
  • Understanding of electricity, hydraulics and other systems
  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician
  • Strong understanding of common treatment processes and methods
  • Experience in operating a wide range of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hand tools
  • Working knowledge of tools, common equipment and tools
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • NC2 certified - Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NCII) and Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) Servicing NCII:
  • Relevant experience minimum 2years.

Job Descriptions:

  • Respond quickly in case of emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols
  • Perform electrical system maintenance
  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations
  • Supports regulating ventilation, cooling and other systems and making repairs when necessary
  • Assist in budget development and ensure it is followed
  • Maintain heating system and plumbing to ensure functionality
  • Check alarm systems such as carbon dioxide and fire protection and quickly schedule repairs when needed
  • Carry out pest control activities such as spraying insecticides
  • Perform other tasks as required by the immediate head/supervisor.
