About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Taft Property Venture Development Corp.'. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's facilities and equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly. This full-time role is based in Cebu City, Cebu.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical equipment
  • Identify and diagnose issues, and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and take appropriate action to resolve issues
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as needed to ensure effective and efficient maintenance
  • Assist with the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimise disruptions
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical equipment
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as basic diagnostic and repair equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Good communication and customer service skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
