Position Overview
The Zoho Developer & System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, optimising, and enhancing Auto Ownit's full suite of Zoho applications, including Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Desk, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Projects, Zoho Creator (Deluge), Zoho One, and their crossapplication integrations and associated websites.
This role combines day-to-day system administration with delivering continuous improvements—driven by organisational project priorities and self-identified opportunities to improve data integrity, automation, reporting, and operational efficiency. In addition to core Zoho platform work, the role will involve SQL queries, scripting, API integrations, and data migration tasks to ensure seamless system performance and integration with other business tools.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Maintenance
Serve as the primary administrator for all Zoho applications used by the business, including CRM, Analytics, Desk, Campaigns, Projects, and Creator.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and resolve user-reported issues promptly.
Maintain configuration, workflows, automation scripts (Deluge), and integrations in line with operational needs.
Perform regular data integrity checks, clean-up processes, and implement validation rules across platforms.
Development, Customisation & Continuous Improvement
Build, customise, and optimise modules, workflows, dashboards, and reports across all Zoho applications.
Identify, propose, and implement automation, process efficiencies, and "quality of life" improvements for users.
Create and maintain advanced dashboards and analytics reports using Zoho Analytics.
Write and maintain Deluge scripts to support automation and integration across Zoho applications.
Configure and manage Zoho Campaigns for targeted communication and lead nurturing activities.
Use Zoho Projects to support internal project management, task tracking, and workflow automation.
Integration, APIs & Data Management
- Manage and develop integrations between Zoho applications and third-party systems (e.g., GoCardless, Xero, internal tracking tools).
- Work with REST APIs and other integration methods to build and maintain system connectivity.
- Execute SQL queries and database work as needed for reporting, data transformation, and migration.
- Manage data imports/exports, migrations, and cleansing projects in compliance with privacy and security standards.
User Support & Training
- Act as the primary support contact for all Zoho-related issues, delivering timely
troubleshooting and solutions. - Provide user onboarding, training, and documentation to ensure adoption of best practices.
- Maintain clear internal documentation of system configurations, workflows, and integration logic.
Governance, Compliance & Security
- Ensure systems and configurations comply with governance frameworks, privacy laws, and industry regulations.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls across all Zoho applications.
- Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure reporting meets legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASIC, AFCA, credit licensing).
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience administering and developing across the Zoho suite (CRM, Analytics, Desk, Campaigns, Projects, Creator, Zoho One).
- Proficiency in Deluge scripting and Zoho Analytics configuration.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience with APIs, and system integration techniques.
- Experience in data migration, transformation, and cleaning.
- Background in automotive, finance, or subscription-based industries advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high data integrity.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities without direct instruction.
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
