Job DescriptionWill be configuring and managing Datacenter Infrastructure in a fast-paced Windows production enterprise-level environment. Support day-to-day operations and maintenance. Perform specific tasks including provisioning, troubleshooting, and some automation and scripting (command-line interface knowledge required). Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individuals to minimize the incidents. You will also need a solid understanding of enterprise system networks (hardware, software, networking, protocols), advanced knowledge of VMWARE vSphere and practices and proficiency in systems analysis and project planning. You should be able to handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues. Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required.
Responsibilities- Installation, administration, troubleshooting of Windows Servers (Preferably Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022).
- Advanced level of administration of Windows Server with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and High Availability.
- Deploy and configure VMware infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, vMotion, HA, DRS, and related virtualization technologies.
- Provide ongoing support for enterprise data center operations, including implementation and maintenance of storage and backup systems.
- Perform server hardening, conduct security scans, apply patches, and ensure the security compliance of Wintel systems.
- Execute system backups and restorations; manage system services, event logs, and perform system audits.
- Integrate backup solutions with industry-standard applications (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Oracle, Lotus Notes, and VMware environments).
- Manage daily operations in alignment with the incident management process and resolve user reported issues effectively.
- Administer user accounts, profiles, and access permissions in accordance with organizational policies.
- Investigate and analyze major incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and OS-related issues, accurately assessing their impact and prioritizing resolution.
- Conduct regular system reviews and recommend improvements to enhance performance, security, and efficiency.
- Participate in planning, approval, and implementation of change management processes and requests.
- Collaborate with regional teams on the design and implementation of server, storage, and backup solutions.
- Support LAN design, deployment, and troubleshooting; assist with configuration of networking devices.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and create knowledge base articles to support knowledge sharing within the team.

- Extensive experience in technology support within large-scale enterprise and service provider environments.
- Proven hands-on expertise in the installation, administration, troubleshooting, and hardening of Windows Server environments, as well as Dell, EMC, and SAN storage systems.
- Solid experience in deploying and configuring solutions within the Dell Data Protection Suite (DPS), including Avamar, Data Domain, and IDPA.
- Strong background in VMware technologies, including installation, administration, support, and hardening of ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and virtual workstations.
- Capable of designing and implementing effective backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge and experience with Rubrik backup solutions, including deployment, management, and recovery operations.
- Proficient in patch management for VMware platforms and familiar with tools such as Red Hat Satellite and Microsoft WSUS.
- Skilled in scripting, particularly with PowerShell, for automation and system management tasks.
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities with a track record of producing clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and a proactive, self-driven approach to problem-solving and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to work independently and develop innovative solutions to technical challenges.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MCSE/MCITP, VMware vSphere, and ITIL are considered an advantage.
Must be graduate of any IT Related Course and has at least five years related experience
