Our Manila operation is one of two global design hubs that support the delivery of projects across our operating regions and is a key component to our success.The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification, with relevant experience in Financial Accounting. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for managing finance systems and related projects, overseeing key business finance functions, and monitoring financial processes and reporting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.You are encouraged to escalate recommendations and plans to ensure that we are providing best-practice support to our teams, in the delivery of your responsibilities and in the smooth running of the Finance function.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGFinance Support – UK & EuropeAssists in the administration of account entries, documents, payments & finances for UK & European entities of the Group.Prepare financial statements, tax returns, & other reportsUploading of Vendor invoices in the softwareAssist in Finance Monthly Closing as needed. This includes recording adjustments for prepayments, accruals, depreciations etc.Preparation and uploading of external and intercompany invoices in timely manner.Liaison with local authorities for statutory compliance, statutory auditors including support in timely finalisation & filing of statutory returns.Support the Group Finance Team in reporting to the Lenders & PE holdersLiaising with the consultants for timely filing of VAT & Tax returns for UK & European entities and sharing the required documentation with them.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelor's degree in accounting / Finance or related field8 + years proven working experience in the accounting and finance.Prior experience in dealing with VAT & Tax matters for UK & European businessesStrong background and knowledge in ERP System- preferably D365Excellent report-writing and English communication skills.Highly organized individual with strong attention to detailSolid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.Self-starter demonstrating commitment, a strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders and authorities in Manila.Excellent interpersonal skillsGETTING RESULTS AND WORKING TOGETHERThe post holder will be expected to operate in line with our workplace values:ACCOUNTABILITY > Everyone is accountable.INTEGRITY > We are straight talking, respectful and fair.SIMPLICITY > Both in our approach and solutions.SUPPORTIVE > We are approachable, inclusive and recognise success.QUALITY > We strive to get it right first time, every time.
