About the Role:

We are looking for a Part-Time Occupational Health Nurse to support our production workforce with clinical care, injury management, and rehabilitation coordination. The ideal candidate has completed LLA (Lower Limb Amputation) training or holds PCO certification and understands the unique needs of workers in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site first aid and medical support for workplace incidents and injuries.
  • Monitor and manage employees undergoing LLA rehabilitation or post-injury recovery.
  • Conduct routine health assessments, fit-for-duty evaluations, and support return-to-work planning.
  • Work closely with HR and production supervisors on early intervention and modified duty programs.
  • Support and educate workers on injury prevention, body mechanics, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in health and wellness initiatives tailored to the manufacturing workforce.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed RN or LPN in good standing.
  • LLA training or PCO certification is required.
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or occupational health setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety, ergonomics, and injury management.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
