About the Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build and optimise their digital storefront. You'll work with designers, product managers, and engineers to create reusable, accessible React components and ensure a fast, seamless customer experience. Your work will directly impact site performance, usability, and conversion.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain applications for a high-traffic e-commerce site.
  • Optimise pages for speed, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Build and extend reusable components in line with the design system.
  • Collaborate across teams and champion frontend best practices.
  • Use testing, CI/CD, and analytics to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor mid-level developers and contribute to technical standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience with React, , JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Skilled in performance optimisation, accessibility, and design systems.
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress), and Git/CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience integrating with APIs and headless CMS.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and passion for user experience.
