Key Responsibilities:

Fullstack Architecture & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications across the full technology stack (frontend and backend).
• Drive architectural decisions, ensure modular and maintainable codebases, and align solutions with product and business objectives.

Cross-Functional Game Development Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with game development teams to design, integrate, and optimize backend services, tools, and dashboards that support live operations and development workflows.
• Act as a technical liaison between web systems and game engines, ensuring seamless connectivity and real-time performance.

API Design, Integration & Microservices

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to power game features such as in-game events, user profiles, analytics, matchmaking, and content management.
• Ensure all integrations are secure, reliable, and performant at scale.

UI/UX Engineering

• Partner with UI/UX designers and artists (2D/3D) to develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experiences across internal tools and customer-facing platforms.
• Champion usability, accessibility, and performance best practices in frontend implementation.

Performance, Scalability & Security Optimization

• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and security vulnerabilities across platforms and devices.
• Implement best practices for data protection, authentication, and authorization in gaming environments.

Code Quality, Standards & Peer Review

• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that adheres to industry standards and internal guidelines.
• Lead and participate in code reviews, driving quality and consistency across the codebase.

Issue Resolution & Production Stability

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in both development and live production environments, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
• Implement monitoring and alerting tools to proactively address system health and performance.

Technical Mentorship & Team Leadership

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on technical challenges, architecture, and professional growth.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, contributing to hiring and onboarding when needed.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay informed on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends relevant to both web and game development.
• Propose and implement improvements to development workflows, infrastructure, and technical strategies.

Operational Support

• Take ownership of tasks beyond core development as assigned by leadership to support team goals and broader business objectives.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Solid experience with PHP (Laravel), , and
• Proven background in the gaming industry or strong understanding of game development workflows.
• Experience building tools, services, or dashboards for game development or live operations.
• In-Depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, build process, testing, and deployments
• Experience in developing distributed/scalable systems and high volume transaction applications.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design, software architecture, and system design principles.
• Experience developing scalable, distributed systems and high-volume transaction applications.
• Advanced proficiency with MySQL, RESTful APIs, and modern frameworks.
• Strong experience in API development, integration, and server/database management.
• Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of web security best practices, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• A genuine interest in gaming and creating great user experiences for players and developers alike.
