About the role

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative user interfaces that deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and engaging web applications
  2. Implement complex front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks
  3. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
  4. Optimize web applications for speed, security and scalability
  5. Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
  6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team
  7. Stay up to date with the latest front-end development trends and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry
  2. Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular or
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code
  5. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  7. Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and best practices
