About the Role

As an Azure Data and Integration Developer, you will be responsible for building and supporting end-to-end Azure data and application solutions aligned with CIMIC's Target Reference Architecture. You will ensure security compliance, deliver solutions that support business objectives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and unit-test Azure data and integration solutions.

  • Align solutions with CIMIC's Security Standards and Target Reference Architecture.

  • Implement data ingestion, storage, transformation, and integration using Azure tools (Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, etc.).

  • Schedule handovers to BAU Support and provide technical assistance during test phases (e.g., UAT).

  • Follow deployment processes, including obtaining necessary approvals, and supporting post-go-live hypercare.

  • Create technical specifications, implementation documentation, and adhere to governance frameworks.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project roadmaps and standards.

  • Provide technical support during test phases and ensure solutions are handed over to business-as-usual operations seamlessly.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in ICT, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills (Must-Have):

Candidates must demonstrate expertise in at least two out of the three Azure technical pillars listed below:

1. Ingestion:

  • Azure Data Factory

  • Azure Storage & Delta Lake (Bronze, Silver, and Gold architecture)

  • API Manager, REST APIs, Web APIs

  • Azure Logic Apps & Function Apps (C#/Python)

2. Process/Enrichment:

  • Azure Databricks and SQL

  • Azure Key Vault and security principles

  • Build and release pipelines using Azure GitHub

3. Serve:

  • Azure App Services for Web Development

  • Power BI, Azure Synapse (including external views)
