Key Responsibilities:

1.Technical Support:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.

2.User Training:

  • Conduct training sessions to educate users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
  • Create user manuals and documentation to assist with problem resolution and usage.

3.Network Management:

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.

4.System Administration:

  • Administer and maintain servers, including managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.

5.Hardware and Software Management:

  • Coordinate the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software resources.
  • Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

6.Data Backup and Recovery:

  • Implement and maintain data backup strategies to ensure the integrity and availability of critical data.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery plans.

7.Cybersecurity:

  • Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard information and systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices.

8.Collaboration:

  • Work with other IT professionals and departments to implement IT projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and software applications.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and team members.
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve IT issues efficiently
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
