  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable on time.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts.
  • Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts based on financial trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve overall business performance.
  • Train and mentor junior bookkeeping staff as needed.
  • Utilize bookkeeping software and tools effectively to streamline accounting processes.
Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial document preparation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
Desired Experience
  • Experience in managing bookkeeping for small to mid-sized businesses is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations in the Philippines would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience working in a remote team setting is a plus.
