About the Role:Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a team of 5-10 bookkeepers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop, implement, and streamline bookkeeping systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bookkeeping team, ensuring all tasks are completed effectively.
  • Provide training and support to the bookkeeping team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing a small team (5-10 people) is non-negotiable.
  • Strong knowledge of online bookkeeping software, particularly QuickBooks Online (non-negotiable).
  • Ideally, a CPA equivalent certification.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong focus on process improvement.
