About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at KAYA RESTAURANT' in Cebu City, Cebu. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our talented culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting the chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  2. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by cleaning and sanitising workstations, utensils, and equipment
  3. Restocking and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth operations
  4. Following food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction
  5. Providing support to the kitchen team as needed to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of meals

What we're looking for

  1. Some experience in a kitchen or food service environment, although training can be provided
  2. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  3. Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team
  4. A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
  5. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
