Ardent Communications is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic
PR Intern
to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in PR and communications. The PR Intern will support the Accounts team in various tasks, including campaign management, media relations, content creation, and event planning.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship, but it offers rich learning opportunities, mentorship, and industry exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns.
  • Assist in drafting PR and social media content and other materials.
  • Help monitor media coverage and contribute to compiling PR activity reports.
  • Conduct background research to aid in PR planning and strategy.
  • Provide logistical support for events and appearances, as needed.
  • Support the creation and scheduling of content for social media platforms.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Must be enrolled under an
    academic
    internship program.
  • Can report full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in PR.
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to start immediately.
