Job Description:

The IT Operations Manager will oversee and manage the company's network operations team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and mentoring to ensure operational excellence in all network systems and operations, including sub-systems. The role includes leading the design, implementation, and ongoing management of network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and technological advancements. The Manager will oversee strategic planning for medium- and long-term timelines, ensuring seamless integration with new developments in the field. He/She will also manage firewalls, security, and internal network policies, including significant infrastructure projects such as site moves or major upgrades. He/she will elevate the organization's network management practices to meet internal needs and establish high-quality, customer-focused services that enhance collaboration with partners and clients (e.g., healthcare facilities).

  • Drive initiatives to enhance network performance, cost-efficiency, and quality.
  • Develop and implement standards and processes for NOC.
  • Lead the resolution of escalated and complex network-related issues.
  • Oversee the validation, deployment, and optimization of network nodes.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop network team members to build technical expertise and leadership capacity.
  • Ensure infrastructure technology resilience and recoverability to support critical business processes.
  • Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of firewall and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on monitoring outcomes and forensic analyses.
  • Drive the growth of network operations practices across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Must have 5 years of relevant role experience within the banking industry.
  • 5+ years of work experience involving VPN, cloud implementation, and routing protocols.
  • 5+ years of work experience involving IPSEC, DHCP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF QoS, RFP/RFI software and systems.
  • Solid understanding of OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Proven ability to thoroughly document protocols and configurations.
  • Certifications such as CINP and CISSP certifications are highly desired and valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal and English communication (written and verbal) skills.
