About the role

PMENGG TECHNIC INC' is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in Metro Manila. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects through effective planning and scheduling. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, identifying potential risks and mitigating them, and communicating progress to all stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard planning software
  2. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project activities are properly sequenced and resourced
  3. Identify and analyse potential risks and bottlenecks, and recommend mitigation strategies
  4. Regularly update project plans to reflect changes in scope, resources, or timelines
  5. Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for management and clients
  6. Collaborate with the project team to optimise workflows and improve planning processes

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer or Project Planner in the construction industry
  3. Proven proficiency in using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  6. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
  7. Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
