Sr Corporate Finance Manager

Role Description

Leads and manages financial modellers while overseeing the Accounting function, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of financial models, accounting records, and management reports. This role supports both strategic and operational decision-making through effective financial planning, compliance, and performance management.

Leadership & Oversight

• Supervise financial modelling and accounting teams to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely outputs.
• Review and validate financial models, analyses, and accounting reports prior to submission to management, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide team members to strengthen financial capabilities, ensure succession readiness, and uphold performance standards.

Corporate Finance & Treasury Management

• Coordinate with partner banks on debt facility availments, drawdown submissions, and compliance with financing requirements.
• Support initial engagements with other banks for working capital facilities and related documentation.
• Monitor compliance with debt covenants, financing agreements, and reporting obligations.
• Evaluate funding options (debt, equity, or hybrid) to optimize capital structure.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to management and the Board.
• Represent the FP&A/Treasury/Strategic Finance function in ManCom meetings, presenting financial updates and strategic inputs.

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), tax regulations, and internal control policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies for timely submissions and audits.
• Strengthen internal accounting processes and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

Investment & Capital Allocation

• Conduct financial due diligence and valuation for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
• Assess capital expenditure projects to ensure optimal resource allocation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Accounting, Operations, Business Development, and O&M teams to align financial goals and project assumptions (system sizes, timelines, financing needs, etc.).
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred).
• At least 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation (DCF, LBO, comparables), and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of tax compliance, audit processes, and accounting standards.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and financial systems (ERP experience preferred).
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and corporate financial compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php80,000.00 per month
