  • Review test reports for proper material and product disposition, prior to release of any material and product to customer/end user.
  • Develop, implement and improve quality inspection procedures and policies of laboratory.
  • Review product specification conformance data and suppliers quality performance rating.
  • Review and recommend purchase request, calibration, verification and maintenance of equipment use in laboratory.
  • Provides input for the non-conforming test, product and material to concerned party.
  • Review customers request for testing and assess capability of AFCMI laboratory to perform the test request
  • Prepare/verify up-to-date reports such as weekly report, monthly product specification compliance, supplier performance evaluation, SPC data, etc.
  • Plan and organize method validation, proficiency testing participation, quality control charting exercise, inter-laboratory exercises, and staff competence evaluation.
  • Ensure availability of certified reference materials both in physic-chemical and microbiological laboratory.
  • Apply effective statistical techniques in estimation of uncertainties of measurement, if applicable.
  • Participate in intra and inter-laboratory test.
  • Review and approved Certificate of Analysis (COA).
  • Prepare budget and plans for laboratory section.
  • Support HACCP Team in the development and implementation of the HACCP Plan.
  • Participate in in-plant product cutting, product/process validation and mock recovery exercises.
  • Attend meeting with customers as necessary.
  • Review subordinate performance and recommend necessary training need for development.
  • Member of Mancom to represent Laboratory Issues.

Qualifications

  • Preferably graduate of B.S Chemistry and or any related courses.
  • Preferably a licensed Chemist
  • Has awareness on ISO/IEC 17025, HACCP, QMS and FSMS.
