DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow the company's quality policies and procedures.
  • Assist in performing laboratory analyses of the test sample such as paint, cement, water, asphalt, soil (chemical analyses), aggregate (chemical analysis), zinc coating, and Steel.
  • Train in properly handling and store of test samples and disposal of the tested sample.
  • Train to ensure that incoming samples are in good condition or comply with the standard specification as needed.
  • Prepares chemical reagents as needed in testing.
  • Train to properly monitor, use, and store all chemical laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Train in conducting routine equipment verification, maintenance and environmental condition recording and monitoring.
  • Maintains a complete record of all chemical test results or data.
  • Train to compute and submit test result to the Section Head for checking.
  • Responsible for orderliness, cleanliness, and securing area.
  • Identify or report risks to the highest-ranking personnel in the department. Risk assessment may also be conducted under the supervision of the highest-ranking personnel in the department.
  • Report broken tools and damaged equipment/machinery to the Section Head through Incident Report, to identify specific risks, repairs, modifications, and maintenance.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (B.S. Chem ) must be a registered Chemical Technician.
  • A combination of experience, education, and training equivalent to BS Chem.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to independently plan and organize one's activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php20,200.00 per month
