Ayala Land Group is looking for a Treasury Supervisor

Overview: Responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of a company, specifically focusing on its cash, liquidity, and financial risk management. The role involves ensuring that the organization has the right amount of cash on hand for its daily operations while also optimizing its financial processes. Here's a breakdown of typical responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Cash Management:

Oversee daily cash position and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds for operations.

Forecast cash flows to ensure that cash reserves are adequate.

Manage bank accounts, including setting up new accounts and managing signatories.

Bank Relationship Management:

Liaise with banking partners to negotiate terms, fees, and services for treasury products (such as credit lines, loans, etc.).

Monitor bank charges and resolve any issues related to banking services.

Debt and Investment Management:

Assist with managing short- and long-term debt.

Help in evaluating investment opportunities and make recommendations for the organization's cash reserves.

Risk Management:

Monitor and mitigate financial risks (such as interest rate, currency, and commodity risk).

Implement hedging strategies when necessary to protect the company from volatility.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.

Prepare and present regular reports on treasury activities, cash flows, and risk management strategies.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Collaborate with finance teams to align cash and liquidity management with broader financial strategies and forecasts.

Provide input into budget planning and financial forecasting related to cash flow and treasury operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or any equivalent
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • With Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and accounting principles.
  • Good Communicator
  • Preferably with familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
