GENERAL JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for overseeing the organization's daily cash management activities, ensuring optimal liquidity, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • This role involves supervising treasury operations, managing banking relationships, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of treasury management within a multinational corporation or financial institution
  • Certification such as Certified Treasury Professional or Certified Public Accountant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determine available cash for operations, investments, and debt payments.
  • Analyze variances between actual and forecasted cash flows and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations.
  • Allocate cash to subsidiaries or departments as needed.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports for management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Negotiate better terms and services with banking partners when necessary.
  • Supervise the execution of wire transfers, ACH payments, and other electronic fund transfers.
  • Manage intercompany fund transfers and settlements.
  • Oversee payments related to loans, credit facilities, and other financial obligations.
  • Verify that all transactions comply with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls over treasury operations, including segregation of duties and approval hierarchies
