BROAD SCOPE

  • The Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. This role focuses on identifying customer needs, providing tailored transport and logistics solutions, and achieving assigned sales targets through proactive business development and account management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in air, sea, and land freight, as well as warehousing and logistics services.
  • Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and negotiations to promote company services and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and contracts based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly or quarterly sales targets as assigned by management.
  • Submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the supervisor or management.
  • Represent the company professionally at trade events, meetings, and networking activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Logistics Operation Experience (3 to 6 years)

1.1. International (Air/Ocean) Freight Forwarding and Customs

OR

1.2. B2B or B2C Warehouse and Local Distribution

  1. Who is willing to get the experience for Field Sales/Tele Sales for Career Improvement/Career Path

  2. Using Excel Formula well for Logistics Cost Simulation/Analysis for potential Clients

  3. Using PowerPoint well for presentation preparation to potential Clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong understanding of international shipping, freight operations, and logistics documentation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel locally or internationally for client meetings or business development activities.
