This key position is responsible for the overall performance and improvement of the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify loan application and requirements needed to process the loan.
  • Communicate with loan applicants to acknowledge their application and, if necessary, to obtain information for loan applications and to answer related inquiries and/or clarifications about the loan process.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements (i.e. tax return net income, profitability and loss, bank statements, credit report) and assess within specified limits with due diligence.
  • Keep up to date with the client's lending protocols.
  • Reconcile credit files and identify discrepancies and variances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or other business-related fields.
  • Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products, services and procedures.
  • 1 year of work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer or similar role.
  • Exposure to different client interactions such as client visits, client calls and meetings.
