About the role

As a Production Engineering Assistant Manager at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the company's production processes. This full-time position is based in Lipa City, Batangas.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency

  • Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise to address production challenges

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure optimal performance

  • Analyse production data and generate reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement

  • Develop and implement training programs to upskill production staff

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to coordinate production activities and ensure seamless operations

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and processes

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production engineering or maintenance role, preferably in the automotive industry

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Proficient in data analysis and process optimization techniques

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in leading and developing teams

  • Familiarity with maintenance planning and predictive maintenance strategies
