Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Specialist located in Taguig. The Tax Specialist will handle tax planning, preparation, and compliance to ensure alignment with current tax laws and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing tax returns, ensuring timely filing, staying updated with tax policy changes, providing strategic tax solutions, and collaborating with the finance team on tax-related matters. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and file state and local tax returns for individuals and/or businesses
  • Review financial data and documentation for accuracy before filing
  • Ensure all tax filings are submitted correctly and on time
  • Maintain organized records and support documents for each filing
  • Assist in resolving tax notices related to filed returns
  • Stay updated on relevant filing requirements and changes in state/local tax rules
  • Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to gather necessary information

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation
  • Strong knowledge of Tax Law and general Tax compliance
  • Experience in Finance related to tax operations
  • Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced office environment
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
