About the Role:

Responsible for developing, improving, and implementing product and component designs to support the company's manufacturing operations. This role ensures that designs meet functional requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and cost-efficiency targets while supporting continuous improvement in production processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D software / Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with industry codes, safety regulations, and quality standards (ISO).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with the entire process from material preparation, mold selection, machine debugging to mass production, experience in solving complex on-site process problems is preferred.
  • Familiar with material characteristics, such as adhesive materials and plastic films (PET/PC/PVC/PP), foam, double-sided tape, etc.
  • Proficient in the selection of various types of knife molds, such as carving knives, plastic knives, wooden knives, hardware molds, etc., understanding the practical scenarios, costs, and lifespan of knife molds.
  • Capable of independently designing and reviewing drawings, able to make cutting die drawings and printing color separation as well as producing printing film drawings. Can use drawing software in formats such as AI/CAD.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, able to quickly diagnose common issues during printing and die-cutting processes.
  • Have quality awareness and cost control ability by optimizing processes, reducing material waste, and increasing mold lifespan.
  • Understand the principles, precision control, and maintenance of die-cutting machines and printing machines. Proficient in optimizing and setting core processes such as pressure, speed, and tension in die-cutting machines. Understand the production coordination of printing, lamination, die-cutting and other processes
