Key Responsibilities:

  • Product & Component Design
  • Create detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for products, tools, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software (AutoCAD 3D).
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical input during product development.
  • Prototype Development & Testing
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop and test prototypes.
  • Analyze test data and results, and recommend design modifications when necessary.
  • Manufacturing Support
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility in manufacturing.
  • Provide engineering support in resolving technical issues related to product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and company policies.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for product and process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Support lean manufacturing and process optimization initiatives.
  • Other tasked to be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D software
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • (entry-level may be considered with strong technical skills).
  • Familiarity with industry codes, safety regulations, and quality standards (ISO).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
