Position Overview

JLL is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to provide comprehensive facilities management and engineering support at our client's Collins Aerospace facility in Batangas (First Philippine Industrial Park). This role involves ensuring optimal facility operations, maintenance, and compliance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
  • Oversee daily operations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all facility equipment
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades
  • Monitor building automation systems and energy management systems
  • Ensure facility compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements
Project Management
  • Lead facility improvement projects from conception to completion
  • Manage vendor relationships and contractor performance
  • Prepare project specifications, cost estimates, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and client representatives on facility initiatives
Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain comprehensive safety programs and conduct regular safety inspections
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local building codes, and client-specific safety requirements
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and business continuity planning
Technical Support
  • Provide technical expertise for facility-related issues and improvements
  • Analyze facility performance data and recommend optimization strategies
  • Support space planning and workplace optimization initiatives
  • Assist with sustainability and energy efficiency programs
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of facilities management or building engineering experience
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Previous experience with multinational companies or aerospace industry advantageous
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
  • Proficiency in building automation systems and energy management
  • Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance
  • Project management experience with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Computer proficiency including CAD software, MS Office Suite, and CMMS systems

  • Leadership abilities with experience managing vendors and contractors
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure

Working Conditions
  • Full-time position based at Collins Batangas facility
  • May require occasional overtime, weekend work, or emergency response
  • Some physical requirements including walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Work environment includes both office and industrial facility areas
