Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering or a related field of study
• 5 years' proven experience in Oil and Gas construction/demolition or major maintenance projects.
• Preferably a licensed Engineer or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Preferably having various training and certificates but not limited to the following: AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project, NAVIS Works
• Strong understanding of PEFS, ISO drawings, and/or electrical SLD
• Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices
• Knowledgeable with API 650, 653, 570, ASME B31.3
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Summary

The Construction Supervisor and Engineer for Tabangao Demolition Project support the Construction Leads in monitoring field execution activities. They spend most of their time on the field rather than the office. They are responsible for the safe execution of fieldwork and ensure that Company HSSE rules and regulations are complied with. They ensure that work scopes are delivered on time, within budget and at agreed quality standards.

Statement of Duties

• Assist the Construction Leads in overseeing site demolition works.
• Conducts regular site walkthrough to ensure that worksites and workers are compliant to HSSE requirements.
• Ensures all site observations impacting HSSE are addressed and closed out immediately.
• Conducts last-minute risk assessments (LMRA) of contractor's daily tasks.
• Reviews and countersigns PTW applications raised by contractors.
• Attends toolbox meeting and daily progress meetings with contractors.
• Monitors daily the availability of contractors' resources to implement planned activities.
• Works closely with contactor supervisors in planning and executing field works.
• Identifies potential project issues and executes appropriate action to resolve concerns.
• Addresses technical issues/concerns related to field execution works.
• Verifies status of assets and ensures that agreed end-state conditions are met before endorsing acceptance by Construction Manager of handover from Special Projects.
• Provides visible markings on redundant assets already identified for demolition.
• Quantifies and verifies actual job completion at site and reports the same to Project Services.
• Verifies closure of punch list items prior to acceptance of contractor handover.
• Reviews and verifies updates to as-built drawing submitted by contractors.
• Prepares handover package for acceptance of completed scope by SHIFT Operations.
• Provides input during reviews of method statements and job hazards analyses submitted by contractors.
• Maintains project handover dossiers issued by Special Projects Team and contractors.
• Delivers individual KPI and contributes actively to deliver overall Team KPI.
• Performs ad hoc duties related to the role that may be required from time to time.

Other Details

• Work Schedule: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM - Monday to Friday
• Work Location: Full on-site at Shell import facility Tabangao/Shell terminals or outports.
