JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Education – Graduate of a 4-year college degree in IT, Computer Science, or related IT discipline.

  • Related Work Experience-  At least 3  years in a similar function.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical teams and delivering solutions.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial institution.

  • Knowledge –

  • Banking concepts or training in Financial Services.

  • Solution Delivery Life Cycle.
  • Advanced analysis and design methodologies.
  • COBOL, CICS, Java/.Net, SQL programming.
  • Infrastructure architecture (network layers/protocols, telecom, infrastructure security).
  • API and Web services integration.

  • Project management principles.

  • Skills (Soft Skills) –

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Advanced technical and programming proficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as architect of projects (whole or in part), reviewing business and technical requirements and developing the solution design (application, infrastructure, integration).
  • Prepare overall technical designs, high-level specifications, and detailed technical activities with estimated timelines.
  • Manage day-to-day deliverables of the technical team, including oversight of SIT, UAT, and production implementation activities.
  • Perform capacity planning, coordinate test environment setup, and address risks, issues, and audit findings.
  • Review and monitor technical test scripts and testing execution in SIT/UAT.
  • Manage vendor and proof-of-concept activities including evaluation, scoring, and solution presentations.
  • Analyze technical requirements of business users including performance, integration, and technical administration concerns.
  • Ensure compliance of all technical deliverables to enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to IT and business units on architecture, integration, and design matters.
  • Provide progress reports, escalate critical issues, and coordinate with Senior Architects and project stakeholders.
  • Manage administrative and people responsibilities: performance management, training and development, equipment provisioning, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and perform other related tasks as assigned.
