Material Planner

Analyzes the movement of materials, supporting the production process. Suggests changes to processes and procedures used to handle materials to improve productivity, safety and timeliness. Generates raw material forecasted requirements in consultation with production and procurement.

About the Job:

  • Analyzes the flow of raw materials from distributor to manufacturing plan.
  • Suggests changes to processes and procedures used to handle materials to improve productivity, safety and timeliness
  • Generates raw material forecasted requirements in consultation with production and procurement
  • Creates reports to track key metrics vs set targets to identify trends. Reports may assist with forecasting materials requirements
  • Identifies strategies to better the flow of materials in support of manufacturing.
  • Monitors inactive material
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You:

  • Must be Bachelor's degree holder preferably an Engineering course graduate
  • With at least 3 years relevant work experience in Material Management in a manufacturing or semiconductor industry
  • Preferably with SAP exposure and has good worksheet skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to details and has strong analytical skills
