Buyer - Material Planner

The main objective of this position is to buy, plan, and replenish direct materials

About the job:

• Plan and analyze raw materials requirements based on demand/ forecast through
  
  MRP and within desired inventory levels.
• Generate and issue PO to Suppliers.
• Monitor the status of delivery and make the necessary arrangements for critical items.
• Maintain planning master data in SAP, such as Safety stocks, ABC Class, forecast
  
  consumption, and lead times.
• Settles delivery issues, discrepancies with Suppliers and the Warehouse.
• Effectively manage inventory by using lean techniques, e.g., Kanban, JIT, etc..

About you:

• A graduate of any 4-year course
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Materials Planning in SAP MRP System.
• Fluent (Written and Verbal) in English.
• Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Time management and sense of urgency
