Hatchery Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating hatchery staff:This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring staff are trained on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Managing daily hatchery operations:This involves overseeing egg handling, incubation, hatching, and chick processing, ensuring optimal environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, ventilation) are maintained.
• Implementing and enforcing biosecurity protocols:Protecting the health and welfare of the hatchlings by implementing and maintaining strict biosecurity measures to prevent disease.
• Monitoring hatchery equipment and systems:Ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and that the hatchery adheres to safety standards.
• Analyzing production data:Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like hatch rates and mortality rates to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintaining records and preparing reports:Documenting daily activities, production statistics, and any issues encountered.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations:Adhering to all relevant government regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:A degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field is often required.
• Experience:Experience in hatchery management or poultry production is typically expected, with some positions requiring 2+ years of experience.
• Knowledge:Strong understanding of incubation processes, hatchery operations, and biosecurity protocols is essential.
• Skills:Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills are necessary.
• Preferred:Experience with automated hatchery systems, knowledge of poultry health management, and familiarity with data analysis tools are often preferred.
• Graduate of any four year course

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php14, Php16,000.00 per month
