Live Supply Planner 1

The Live Supply Planner is primarily responsible for the collection, organization, management, and analyses of data needed to develop and execute supply chain and production strategies. This position has a key focus on forecasting of supply, optimizing inventory and production plans, assessing future capacity requirements, and synchronizing supply with demand while maintaining the least possible cost

1. Short-range Planning

2. Forecast, evaluate, and monitor Grand Parent (GP), Parent Stock (PS) and Specialty Products production volume and efficiencies, setting plan, PS Breeding placement and culling schedule, hatchery utilization and day-old broiler loading to ensure alignment of production with committed supply

3. Coordinate the planned GP/PS/SP Purchases, HE volume and setting plan, DOB loading and culling schedules with Logistics, Poultry Breeding Operations, Animal Health Services, Hatchery Operations and Growing Operations to ensure proper delivery of Breeding Stocks, readiness of farms, alignment of volumes with sales requirement and processing capacities and to address demand-supply imbalance

4. Long-range / Strategic Planning

5. Consolidate actual cycle production volume and efficiencies of flocks per breed and facility to benchmark the potential production capability of GP, PS, Broiler and Layer farms

6. Align long-range sales requirement plan with potential production capability of GP, PS and Layer farms to determine schedule of GP and PS purchases
7. Prepare long-range poultry and livestock volume, target efficiency and facility capacity through close collaboration with Live Supply Planning Manager, Live Operations Managers, Operations Planning and Sales to determine needed growth per production centers
8. Assist the Operations Managers in the periodic evaluation of breeding payment scheme through sensitivity analyses
9. Assist Business Planning in industry reading reports and analyses by translating available poultry importation data to production supply (per Integrator) to generate competitive intelligence reports as support to planning activities
10. Contribute to the process improvement and/or cost reduction project initiatives of the Operations Planning Group

11. Ensure alignment of long-range plan with sales volume growth targets, supply chain optimization plans, and strategic directions

12. Materials Planning

13. Prepare mid and long-range feed requirement forecasting per SKU to aid BMEG in the planning of manufacturing activities, delivery schedule, and purchasing activities and ensure feed raw materials are available for production and feed products are available for delivery to customers

14. Collaborate with Operations Heads, Logistics Services and Animal Nutrition to validate assumptions on feed forecasting such physical distribution of animals, inventory days-level, average feed intake per SKU, etc. to keep deviations against plan at a minimum

15. Inventory Control

16. Keep track of poultry live supply based on breeding stock placement, DOB loading, production volumes and efficiencies to guarantee reliability and predictability of supply forecast

17. Budget Preparation

18. Spearhead the preparation, consolidation, and validation of Poultry Live Operations production estimates, feed requirement forecasts, and other cost related data needed by Finance and ensure consistency with business strategies, directions and major programs

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of 4 year busines management courses, industrial engineering, economics, statistics or mathematics

2. Experience in planning is an advantage

3. Abover average computer skills

4. Above average communication skills both oral and written
