Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coffee Preparation:

  2. Prepare a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) using professional-grade coffee machines.

  3. Ensure the consistency and quality of all coffee drinks, following recipes and maintaining proper brewing techniques.

  4. Customer Interaction:

  5. Engage with customers in a friendly and outgoing manner, creating a warm and welcoming environment.

  6. Answer questions about the menu, make recommendations, and explain different coffee options and brewing methods.

  7. Maintaining Cleanliness:

  8. Keep the coffee bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

  9. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned according to health and safety regulations.

  10. Handling Transactions:

  11. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

  12. Handle cash and card payments, ensuring correct change and receipts are provided.

  13. Team Collaboration:

  14. Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy shifts.

  15. Provide support during rush times, assisting with preparation, customer service, and cleanup.

  16. Upselling and Customer Engagement:

  17. Recommend specialty drinks, upsell pastries or additional products, and build rapport with regular customers.

  18. Participate in promotions or loyalty programs to encourage repeat business.

Requirements:

  • Years of barista experience in a coffee shop or café.
  • Outgoing, talkative personality with a passion for customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and coffee machines.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
