Job Summary:
The Accounting and Administrative Staff is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting and administrative tasks to support daily operations. This position ensures accurate financial record-keeping, assists in the processing of payables and receivables, and handles all matters related to government compliance such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other regulatory requirements. The role requires keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments and government agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities: Accounting Functions
- Prepare and record accounting transactions in the company's accounting system.
- Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Handle invoice and official receipt monitoring and filing.
- Reconcile supplier statements and prepare payment requests.
- Assist in monthly financial reports preparation (expense summary, petty cash liquidation, etc.).
- Encode accounting data and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support tax computation and filing as required by management.
Government Compliance
- Prepare, file, and remit monthly and quarterly government reports for BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
- Ensure timely submission of compliance documents and payments to government agencies.
- Maintain and update company registration and permits (business permits, BIR COR, etc.).
- Coordinate with external auditors, LGUs, and regulatory offices as needed.
- Assist in preparing supporting documents for compliance audits.
Administrative Support
- Maintain proper documentation and filing system for accounting and compliance records.
- Assist in the preparation of internal reports, communications, and correspondences.
- Provide clerical and logistical support to other departments as needed.
- Monitor office supplies, assist in purchasing requests, and handle petty cash disbursement.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Department Head.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or legal roles
- Knowledge of Philippine laws, regulations, and government compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Integrity, confidentiality, and ability to handle sensitive information
- Experience in handling SEC and BIR submissions
- Willing to be assigned at Binondo Manila
- Monday - Saturday duty 8:00am - 5:00pm
