Job description:

As a Construction Mechanical Engineer at Design Coordinates, Inc., you will play a vital role in overseeing the mechanical systems and infrastructure of our construction projects in Metro Manila. This full-time position requires on-site presence and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer
  • With a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Knowledgeable in MEFPS and HVAC work.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in MEFPS systems.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in HVAC systems.
  • Having experience in elevator and escalator maintenance is a plus.
  • With experience in construction management and experience handling high-rise residential buildings
  • The applicant who can start ASAP will be given high priority.
  • Must be willing to work within Metro Manila

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible and focused on the technical details of mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical works of the Project
  • Attends and may conduct site meetings.
  • Inspects the project's mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical components.
  • Monitors the quality assurance and inspection work being conducted by the Contractors' Quality Control
  • Conducts regular project Walk-through together with the contractor to check on the progress of works and spot potential problems in terms of mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical make-up
  • Handles the Design Addenda, Construction Manager's Instructions (CMI's), Requests for Information (RFI's), Substitution Requests, and the like in cases necessary for proper contract management
  • Handles the evaluation of work accomplished by contractors.
