Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • Implement and maintain security controls across systems, networks, and applications.
  • Respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and coordinate remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support awareness and training initiatives for secure practices across the organization.
  • Document findings, mitigation steps, and improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Solid understanding of network security, operating system hardening, and cloud security fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, OSCP, or CISSP.
  • Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with incident management, SOC operations, or forensic analysis.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
