About The Client:

The client is a premium company specializing in high-end decorative surfaces for residential and commercial spaces. Our finishes include Venetian plaster, microcement, limewash, and other artisanal techniques that elevate interiors with timeless elegance. As we expand our digital presence, we're looking for a skilled SEO-focused Marketing Specialist to help us attract architects, designers, and homeowners through strategic online visibility.

Role Overview

You'll lead our SEO efforts to ensure our website ranks for relevant keywords, our content resonates with our target audience, and our technical foundation supports long-term growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both the art and science of SEO—especially in niche, design-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Conduct detailed SEO audits of our website and landing pages
  • Perform keyword research focused on interior design, architectural finishes, and luxury home trends
  • Optimize on-page SEO including product pages, service descriptions, and blog content
  • Address technical SEO issues such as site speed, mobile usability, crawl errors, and structured data
  • Collaborate with web developers to implement SEO recommendations

Content & Link Building

  • Develop SEO briefs for content creation around plaster techniques, design inspiration, and project showcases
  • Coordinate with writers and designers to produce engaging, optimized content
  • Build and manage a link building strategy targeting design blogs, architecture sites, and industry publications

Performance Monitoring

  • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rates, and conversions using Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Provide monthly reports with insights and recommendations
  • Stay current with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and competitor strategies

Growth & Collaboration

  • Align SEO efforts with broader marketing campaigns (social media, email, paid ads)
  • Recommend "Next Steps" for improving visibility and engagement
  • Support local SEO initiatives for showroom visibility and regional targeting

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in design, construction, or luxury goods
  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
  • Understanding of interior design or architectural terminology
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
