Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: php 80,000-87,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM UK Time

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor the health, performance, and availability of live games, backend services, APIs, and sports data feeds using monitoring platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
  • Act as the first responder for all production incidents: diagnose issues, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate as necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated customer support tickets related to in-game issues, data discrepancies, or service availability.
  • Prepare for and oversee high-traffic periods during major sports events globally to ensure platform stability.
  • Manage internal and external communications during incidents, providing timely updates to stakeholders and support teams.
  • Help define, document, and refine incident management, escalation, and response procedures.
  • Create and maintain daily operational health reports, summarizing platform performance and key incidents.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years in a similar role (Technical Support, Live Ops, DevOps, or NOC Engineer).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic).
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS relevant).
  • Familiarity with log analysis tools (ELK Stack, Splunk, Azure Log Analytics).
  • Basic SQL querying skills for investigating data-related issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter with ability to own issues from start to finish.

Desirable Skills (Bonus Points)

  • Passion for sports and understanding of sports gaming/betting industry.
  • Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Previous customer-facing technical support experience.
