Job Description
Overall Purpose of the Job:
To be responsible for delivering professional, effective medical assistance services for patients and clients internationally to the highest standards of excellence in conjunction with Medical and Operational Teams.
Medical Assistance Services
- Handle and assess medical calls globally, including offshore and maritime cases.
- Provide remote medical consultations and risk assessments.
- Coordinate medical care, transport, and monitor patient progress.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health standards (OSHA, IADC).
- Document and escalate cases appropriately.
- Create detailed medical reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Oversee medical evacuations and repatriations.
- Liaise with airlines and charter providers for medical clearances.
- Act as a medical escort when needed.
- Refer patients to appropriate care levels.
- Support teleconsultation processes.
- Contribute to provider assessments and network development.
- Participate in activities to promote Intl. SOS services.
- Assist in client and provider education about medical offerings.
Qualifications
- Licensed medical/nursing practitioner in the Philippines.
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience; Emergency/ICU preferred.
- Experience in maritime, aviation, remote, or assistance medicine is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Filipino and English.
