Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Leadership
  • Oversees and manages the daily operations of the nursing unit.
  • Assigns and monitors staff duties, schedules, and workloads.
  • Guides, mentors, and evaluates nursing staff performance.
  • Ensures compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
  • Patient Care Management
  • Ensures high-quality nursing care and patient safety within the unit.
  • Coordinates with physicians and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Reviews and verifies nursing documentation and reports.
  • Administrative Functions
  • Maintains adequate staffing, supplies, and equipment for unit operations.
  • Prepares and submits reports on attendance, incidents, and performance.
  • Participates in policy formulation and implementation.
  • Training and Development
  • Conducts orientation and in-service training for new and current staff.
  • Promotes continuous professional growth among nursing personnel.
  • Quality Assurance and Infection Control
  • Monitors adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Participates in audits and quality improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • License: Registered Nurse (PRC License)
  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of hospital experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in hospital operations and nursing administration
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time; shifting schedule as needed
