About the Role

The Refrigeration & HVAC Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and display cases. Successful candidates will first be assigned to our Philippine operations, with the opportunity for possible overseas deployment once requirements and processing are completed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose issues with compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and controls.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records and technical reports.
  • Coordinate with operations teams for timely servicing and equipment support.

Qualifications

  • Technical/vocational graduate in Refrigeration, HVAC, or Mechanical Systems (TESDA certification preferred).
  • At least 2 years of work experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration or HVAC.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Willing to undergo training and certifications aligned with international standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with supermarket refrigeration systems (rack systems, walk-in freezers/coolers, refrigerated display cases).
  • Familiarity with energy management or advanced refrigeration controls.
