Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, repair building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical) to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to repair calls.
  • Ensure building/campus/facility compliance with safety, health, fire and electrical regulations.
  • Maintain logs and records of repairs, downtime, parts, and equipment status.
  • Coordinate with contractors/vendors for major repair or overhaul works.
  • Assist in facility upgrades, renovation works as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or vocational certificate; for higher/engineering levels a technical diploma or engineering degree may be preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance (2-5 years for technicians).
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, general building systems.
  • Good troubleshooting skills, ability to read technical drawings/manuals.
  • Physical ability to do onsite work, sometimes after hours/emergency.
