Job Description:

➢ Operations Employee, who processes tasks related to the junior account openings for I) investment & II) variable savings products

➢ Main tasks include:

  • Follow straightforward mandatory process steps to ensure that work is carried out to the required standards to protect the organization from risk. Escalate situations that deviate from the mandatory procedure.
  • Capture personal data of Junior applicant from application form (Name, address, birth date…)
  • Link Junior to legal representatives' data (if existing customers) or
  • Capture legal representatives personal data and link to Junior account
  • Check birth certificates, signatures and legitimation documents and WPHG declaration (IP only)
  • Activate savings product and if applicable investment product in IT system
  • Trigger delivery of mail containing relevant account opening documents & access data
  • Communicate with 2nd level support at ING Germany if customer documents are incomplete or in case of escalation need (TBC)
  • Perform internal quality check to team members to maintain good quality output

➢ Required skills:

  • Ability to work independently, systematically and diligently, and know when to ask for help
  • Basic knowledge of simple office / operational systems (OKIS, DocING)
  • German reading /writing skills (IT systems in German, Application forms in German)
  • English speaking / writing skills to communicate with 2nd level support at ING Germany
