A retail sales associate's primary responsibility is to assist customers in their shopping experience by providing product information, processing transactions, and ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained. They act as a point of contact for customers, offering assistance, answering questions, and resolving issues. Essentially, they are the face of the business and contribute to a positive customer experience and sales goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction:Greeting customers, offering assistance, answering questions about products and store policies, providing recommendations, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Sales & Transactions:Processing purchases and returns, handling payments, and promoting sales, promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Merchandising & Maintenance:Keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing, restocking shelves, and arranging displays.
  • Inventory Management:Assisting with inventory control, such as receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock or discrepancies.
  • Teamwork & Communication:Collaborating with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive store environment, and reporting to management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer service orientation: A friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication to interact with customers and team members.
  • Product knowledge: Familiarity with the products sold, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Sales skills: Ability to suggest items, promote sales, and upsell products.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to address customer issues and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Basic math and computer skills: Proficiency in handling cash, using point-of-sale (POS) systems, and potentially basic inventory management software.
  • Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move merchandise.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php730.00 per day
