Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Real Estate Compliance Coordinator to support our brokerage operations and ensure compliance with Texas real estate regulations. This role will focus on file review, supporting standard operating procedures (SOP) for compliance, and serving as a resource for agents and transaction coordinators. The ideal candidate has strong familiarity with Texas real estate forms, transaction coordination, and compliance review processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Be available during regular business hours (Central Time) to promptly answer agent questions regarding compliance and file documentation.
Conduct timely audits of transaction files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to brokerage and state-level compliance standards.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to agents and transaction coordinators on Texas real estate forms and documentation best practices.
Assist in the development, implementation, and refinement of compliance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor and support compliance workflows for a large agent base (400+ agents), ensuring consistency and accuracy across all documentation.
Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to identify gaps and recommend improvements to compliance processes.
Qualifications:
In-depth understanding of Texas real estate compliance standards, forms, and regulations.
Experience in real estate compliance, transaction coordination, or brokerage operations (minimum 2+ years preferred).
High attention to detail with strong organizational and auditing skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly communicate with agents and staff regarding compliance needs.
Familiarity with transaction management platforms (e.g., Dotloop, Skyslope, Command, Brokermint, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with high-volume agent networks (100+ agents).
Background in process improvement or SOP development.
Proficiency in cloud-based file storage and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox, etc.).
